Stacey Malaspino

Stacey’s career started in the insurance industry, where she worked as claims adjustor for many years with a reputable insurance company. During this time, she worked with injured parties on a strictly limited basis. As she would listen to their stories and hear how the injuries impacted their lives, she wanted to help in ways she was unable to on the insurance side. Ultimately, Stacey decided to take her skills and knowledge and move to the law side so she could assist injured victims in new ways.

New to the legal field, Stacey started as a legal assistant with GLP Attorneys and quickly moved into a paralegal position on the pre-litigation cases. Shortly thereafter, Stacey became the sole litigation paralegal for several years. After her work with GLP, Stacey sought to work at a smaller firm and joined with Palace Law, as their sole paralegal in their personal injury department. Within several months, Palace Law had two other law offices merge with them. As a result, Stacey was promoted to Supervising Paralegal and helped with each merger, training and implementing processes and procedures for the entire Personal Injury Team which grew from three to 12. During her time at Palace Law, she supervised the Pre-Litigation Department and four paralegals.

Stacey has also served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Pierce County. She feels passionately about supporting youth that have been placed in the foster care system.

By the time Stacey accepted a position at Ladenburg Law in May of 2020, she had accumulated over 20 years of progressive experience in the personal injury law field. Stacey was impressed by the reputation of the attorneys and their values of family first and delighted to join the team.

A native from Seattle, Stacey has been living in Tacoma for the past 26 years. She has three grown children and three beautiful grandchildren. During her personal time, Stacey enjoys the serenity of life. You will catch her watching documentaries, spending time with her family, or meeting up with friends for a walk or coffee.
